I LOVE this spot. Amazingly kind staff, huge portions for an unbeatable price. The food always is piping hot and fresh. The staff is fast, nice and always show you your meal when you pick up to confirm it's correct.
They have the best general tso tofu and white rice in the city, hands down. The prices here are also AMAZING. I also am amazed at how quick they whip the food up. Simply cannot choose a better place for takeout.
Really good quality, reliable, and affordable Chinese food. While I wish New Golden Dragon delivered, I am so glad they exist! Their food is always tasty, and filling with large portions and very reasonable prices. What can you count on when you get take out from New Golden Dragon? + You will always be greeted in a friendly manner and they will always show you your food to make sure they got your order right. + the egg drop soup ALWAYS have fresh scallions on top + you always will be offered a free soda or eggroll if you order total is $11+ + their tofu is ALWAYS delicious! + large portions always enough for 2 meals (dont worry if you choose their ridiculously cheap lunch special is also a very generous portion)
Chinese take out place. Good food. Great portions and low prices. Anything with broccoli is great (tofu, chicken). Also dishes with mixed vegetables are great. I personally always ask for fried rice made with white rice instead of yellow.
Five years later and I still come here. It's family run. The mom (owner) takes orders along with her kids. I watched them grow up, lol. Anyway, their food is still good and quick.
Great Chinese American food at great prices! We've tried fo General Tso's Tofu, Sesame Tofu, and Hunan Shrimp. All have been delicious with fresh tasting veggies. At some Chinese restaurants, the tofu tastes like chicken because they're cooked in the same oil, but I really appreciate that their tofu actually tastes like (good) tofu. Both Tofu dishes in a size small cost less than $6 and I always have enough leftovers. The Hunas Shrimp in a large size was less than $11 and the shrimp were a nice size. This Chinese is the BEST Chinese food in Harlem. I have tried splendid China because they deliver and a few others I forgot the name of and I ALWAYS end up walking back to this place. They're simple - they don't deliver and they only take cash, but their food is truly the best Chinese. And the woman there is always there, I admire her and her work effort. Don't bother going anywhere else honestly. They have the best everything.
By far the best chinese takeout place you could go to. The staff is so nice. The food tastes sooooo good. And the prices are super cheap. I even prefer it over many other nice chinese sit down places. They also allow you to customize your meal. 17/10 would get take out from there again this week.
